Comprehensive Make-up Tuition
Both our primary make-up courses teach you the skills and techniques to pursue a career as a fashion/beauty/film and runway make-up artist. Our courses are designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed as professional make-up artists. All our courses stress the 'hands on' approach to learning by getting students involved on shoots and fashion shows. This way, students get a chance to meet and work with some of the most respected people in the fashion industry.
Emphasis is placed on observation of demonstrations and application techniques in practical workshop sessions. Students will be assessed at the end of their training by a practical examination and portfolio shoot. Individuality and creating an original personal style is actively encouraged.

We offer two comprehensive courses - the 8 Week Intensive Day Course and the 10 Week Intensive Evening Course. Either one of these courses will provide the student with sufficient training for his/her chosen career path, taking you from the basics right through to bridal, fashion, photographic and film make-up.
Both courses cover the same material, however with the Day Course there is opportunity to go on fashion shoots if and when they come up for more 'hands on' tuition. Evening students if available during the day will also be notified.
Bridal Make-up Course
If you interested in working as a bridal makeup artist only, this is the ideal course for you. This detailed course will take you from basic bridal application to an advanced bridal specialist. The course will be taught using high profile industry m...akeup artists, giving you an unbeatable larger skillset and a more unique and creative approach to applying makeup.
Course Outline:
Skin preparation Preparing the skin is just as important as makeup itself. It is the base to any good make-up application. You will learn an understanding of skin care and different skin types. This will also cover the selection and application of cleansers, toners, moisturizers and primers.
Foundation selection and application Foundation selection according to skin types. Coverage as well as the various mixing and application techniques.
Corrective and Camouflage Techniques
Learn correcting and camouflaging technique for imperfections such as spots and dark circles.
Sculpting & Shading
Learn how to re-shape and sculpt areas of the face to emphasize certain features.
Creating glowing skin
Learn how to create fresh glowing dewy skin with a variety of products used by industry professionals.
Powders
Learn application aspects and uses of powders compact and pressed. Eye Brow shaping
This is one of the most important areas of the face you will learn. Includes Artistic eyebrow shaping techniques to enhance the beauty of the natural line of the eyebrow.
Eye Shadows-powders/creams
This will cover the 2 different textures in terms of their application and their uses in detail.
Natural beauty make-up
You will learn the various ways to apply a perfect natural makeup.
Creative Bridal make-up
This covers in detail the application and other considerations when applying bridal make up.
Smokey eyes
Learn the many styles of smoky eyes. In this section you will learn application techniques use of different textures adding colour and adding a personal style.
Pencil/Liquid Liner
This covers pencil and liquid eyeliners and application techniques in detail.
Blushers powder/creams
Blushers, powders and creams will be covered in detail including application techniques of the 2 textures and their uses.
Lip sticks glosses & liners
This will cover all aspects from colour selection to application of lipsticks, glosses and lip liners. Mascaras
This covers different mascaras, applications and their uses.
False lash application.
You will also learn a variety of creative industry tricks, as well as everything you will need to know when starting a bridal make up business.

MAKE-OVER WORKSHOP:
The 1 day makeup workshops are designed for all ages and all experience levels. Whether you are young and relatively new to using makeup or more mature and comfortable with the basics, you can benefit from an update on the correct application techniques, the use of top products and tools, as well as advice on the style that will most suit you. The workshop will cover day to evening make-up application and will also cover current fashions.
